Abstract |
Our world has become a profound challenge for forecasting climatic & environmental changes to protect our water resources due to no life without pure water. For that, we chose seawater desalination by solar energy in an environmentally friendly way to discuss it in our article by creating a cycle to benefit from seawater to create a fish farm and use it in agricultural land reclamation. All that we concluded from my graduation project which we did a simple design of a small-scale standalone solar-powered RO system & fish farm in another project and I succeeded in getting pure water from salt water (up to 10,000 ppm) and also getting more than 50 gl. p.d from this simple prototype. And in another project which did by a Doctor at Sohag Regional Development Center, he concluded that Increasing demand for water resources, reduced land water availability, and concerns over food security have spurred the evolution of many innovative and complex food production. Smart sandponics system is a productive, innovative & sustainable fish and vegetable production system that is revolutionizing agriculture in the face of drought, soil fertility losses, and climate change. Smart Sandponics, as an advanced aquaculture-agriculture system, is expected to improve food security in developing countries |
